Spring Clean 2015

Workers from Mid Louth C.E. and TUS, Cllr Declan Breathnach, Marian Scanlon Secretary Knockbridge Tidy Towns, Pupils and Staff from Knockbridge Childcare and St Mary's N.S. Green School Committee at the launch of the annual Spring Clean.

April 15th saw the Tidy Towns volunteers along with our Green Schools Committee out in force to wage war on litter! Mrs. Mullen and our Green Schools Committee carried out a very thorough clean up of our school environs. They are delighted to report that there was in fact very little litter to collect. This is due to the great work the Litter Pickers from Rang V do on a daily basis. A number of glass bottles that had been dumped (by weekend visitors to the school!) were found to the rear of the school, but overall the school environs were in great condition.
