Second class enjoyed a visit from Civil Engineer as part of Science Week.
The children learned all about light as a source of energy. They discussed different sources of light and identified whether they were natural or man-made sources. Children learned how light travels in straight lines and how a solar eclipse is formed. They later engaged in an interactive quiz. As the results of the quiz were compiled the children could identity their status on the leader board of a formula one race. They children thoroughly enjoyed the visit from Gareth.
Thank you so much for your time Gareth. We are looking forward to using the new vocabulary learned today in future lessons about Energy and Forces.
