On 05/04/2019, 6th Class made their Confirmation in St. Mary’s Church Knockbridge. Their teachers, Ms. Clarke and Ms. Conroy worked hard to prepare the boys and girls for the celebration. Both classes went to mass weekly as part of the preparations. Every child in 6th class participated in the ceremony on the day. Their Confirmation copies were on display in the window sills of the church. These copies contained all of their prayers, readings and lessons on the Holy Spirit as well as the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. The rest of the children’s artwork was displayed in the church for the congregation to enjoy. We would like to thank the choir, under the direction of Ms. McGill and Ms. Sweeney, who brought such a joyous atmosphere to the church on the day. We would also like to thank Carmel, Jack, Margaret and Joan, for all their help and support. Thank you to the altar servers, Conor, Jack, Mia and David for a job well done! The children themselves were so well behaved and did their very best! A big thank you to the sponsors for their support on the day and to the parents for their ongoing support.
