Rang 3 were very lucky this afternoon! Gareth Kelly who is a lecturer in engineering in DKIT came and delivered a workshop for Engineers Week.
The children learned about the role of an engineer and were shown examples of cool bridges around the world. The children themselves became little engineers this afternoon. They designed, built and tested their very own bridges. The competition was fierce and the children worked so well in their groups and built strong, functional bridges. Well done to Emily, Lily and James on building the strongest bridge today!
A huge thank you to Gareth Kelly for making this afternoon such fun!
