Last week, we held our first assembly of the calendar year as we welcomed the NET team to our monthly gathering. They have been working closely with the 6th class Confirmation classes and opened the proceedings with a prayer to St Brigid.
Master then told us about the upcoming Food Dudes programme and about the exciting news of hot, healthy lunches being delivered to the school daily after Easter.
The list of achievements were then read out with January’s award winners announced.
Master spoke about all of the activities that were held during the previous fortnight – Grandparents’ Day, St Brigid’s Day and Wellbeing Week and the tidiest classroom was announced. Comhgairdeas to the 6th class of Ms Clarke!
Before the NET team concluded proceedings with their smash hit, “My Lighthouse.” Gaeilgeoirí na Míosa were revealed.
