Saturday saw the culmination of a very busy year’s work in Rang 2 as Mrs. McKeown and Mr. Clune proudly presented their pupils from 2nd class to receive their first Holy Communion.
Having made their first penance and completed their enrolment ceremony earlier in the school year, the pupils were undaunted by this special occasion as they all performed exceptionally while they read, prayed, presented gifts and reverently received the Body of Christ from Father Campbell for the first time.
The choir, led by Ms. McGill and Ms. Sweeney were, as always, in fine voice as they added to an already superb ceremony.
