Every Christmas we all accumulate a lot of waste such as, wrapping paper, sweet wrappers, Christmas trees, batteries and packaging. Sometimes we forget that most of this waste can actually be recycled and does not need to be dumped. At the moment in our school, the Greenschool Committee has launched a Christmas Recycling poetry and slogan competition about all the different ways we can recycle or reuse Christmas waste while also protecting our environment.Hopefully this can remind everyone in school how to turn rubbish into something useful to make our world a greener place to live.Check out our blog on Thursday when the winners of the competition will be announced.
