As this was the last assembly with our current 6th class, they got centre stage as Master presented them to the school and they opened up with a song they have prepared for their graduation, History.
Ruth from Rang V then read an opening prayer to the assembly before Father Rushe gave us a blessing.
Master spoke to us about the upcoming boys football final in Darver and about the success we had at sports day. Medals were then presented to those who caught their teachers’ eyes and one special medal was awarded to a very popular individual! Certificates for the winning relay teams on the day were also presented.
The student council addressed the assembly and told us about the successful recent bake sale. With the funds raised, they have some great ideas to improve the school for the student body.
On behalf of the Board of Management, Master presented all the teachers involved with the Sacraments this year – class teachers and choir mistresses alike.
The awards for student and person of the month were presented to the Junior School and Senior school before we were treated to a final song from Rang VI.
