It feels like a long time since our classrooms were full, but we’re delighted to finally see the children back at school. We can hear voices and laughter in the corridors, and we’re busy making sure that everyone has a safe environment to learn and work in.
5 or 6 months have passed since the children were in the school routine, so settling down this year with a new teacher in a new room is an even greater challenge than usual for most.
We’re concentrating on getting to know each other, while getting used to the new hand washing and social distancing rules. The children in 3rd class have been busy working on numerous things, including their ‘Identity Grids’ which helps me identify some of their favourite things.
We look forward to the year ahead in 3rd class – our adventure begins here.
