Wednesday the 13th of March was another exciting step forward for the children in Second class. They received the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time. This was a very proud moment for their teachers, parents and Carmel their class SNA.
Fr Gerry Campbell beautifully led the ceremony and made the children feel at ease throughout. Fr Pat McEnroe assisted Fr Campbell during the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The celebration was further enhanced by Ms. Sweeney as she led the children in song. It was a very special night which will be etched in the memory of the children’s lives. We look forward with great anticipation to the First Holy Communion Day on the 11th of May.
