Today we held our first assembly of the school year. The first assembly ever for our Junior Infants (who were impeccably behaved throughout and a credit to their families and teacher) and also Rang VI’s first assembly of their final year with us in St. Mary’s NS.
To begin, Rebecca read a beautiful opening prayer and Master welcomed everybody, especially those here for the first time.
Ms Finnegan then addressed the assembly about the upcomong Food Dudes programme that the entire school will participate in next month.
Achievements were read out as we heard about the fantastic activities our pupils have gotten up to outside of school and the students and persons of the month awards were handed out.
