This past week we have been working on using our bodies as percussion instruments.
With inspiration drawn from Storms Ciara and Dennis, we replicated the sound of a thunderstorm outside. To add to the effectiveness of it all, we transitioned into the song we have been learning, Africa by Toto, as children sang and made their own backing music.
We integrated our Art lesson with this music piece as two groups worked collaboratively to create a water-colour panoramic painting of the beginnings, downpour and end of a storm.
