For the second time this year, we travelled to the south of the county to compete in a schools cross country running event. This time it was to Tullyallen rather than Drogheda and this time it was with 40 runners rather than 8!
Most of the athletes we brought were running a cross country race for the very first time but everyone acquitted themselves extremely well on the day!
There were some really gutsy performances on the tough course and against strong opposition and we enjoyed success with James in 4th class, Kate in 5th and Ella and April in 6th winning individual medals. We had to remain to the bitter end, however, as the results of the 6th class girls team race was calculated. The wait was worth it as Grace, Katie, Eve, Ella and April were declared gold medallists!!!
